Multipurpose ID3v1.1 tag editor

msTagger is a tool designed for ID3 tag editing and mp3 files management. It is made for two basic things: fast and comfortable tag editing in multiple files and renaming mp3 files using data stored in tags.

serial tag editing
renaming files in directories
compatible with ID3v1.1 (you can save track number)
renaming files using predefined schemas
creating your own renaming schemas
easy file selecting
copying ID3 data from one file to many others
copying data from ID3v2 to ID3v1 tag
and many more ...

Although program is fully functional it is still under development. Many useful features will be implemented in near future. So be patient. I also waiting for feedback from you, if you have some hints, bug report or other proposals, please contact me.

Because any manual doesn't exist yet. I present you some tips here.

Q:
How to copy tag from one file to many others ?
A:
Select source file, you'll see data in the right controls. Now click the blue arrow Copy data and datas appear on the left side, next click Save tags button. Only data in selected items will be modified.

Q:
Are there any keyboard shortcuts ?
A:
YES. Three :))
- CTRL + B - paste filename into edit box
- F5 - refresh directory tree
- Enter - save tag and go to next file.
